Launceston Pacing Club - making wishes come true

The Launceston Pacing Club continues to provide support and assistance to the northern community, hosting another successful fundraising race meeting on Sunday night, this time in conjunction with Make-A-Wish Australia.

The LPC worked tirelessly with the Launceston Branch of Make-A-Wish Australia to raise funds throughout the night.  In excess of $7,000 was raised and support offered by many local businesses to fulfil the wish of a sick child in Northern Tasmania.

LPC President Joel Wallace said,

'It is extremely important that the racing industry supports community organisations. The support at the race meeting was fantastic, with over 210 people attending the formal dinner which also combined with the annual members’ dinner.'
